Our massive array of 305 solar panels can generate up to 500kWh! Almost all of our electricity comes from solar power, giving Locale one of the smallest environmental footprints in the Caribbean.
Water Footprint Reduction
Our towel and sheet reuse program reduces unnecessary laundry, minimizing water waste. Modern fixtures and faucets also ensure that water is used efficiently.
Electricity Reduction
The heat generated through our air conditioning system warms our hot water tanks, and tinted windows reduce electricity usage while offering additional privacy.
Indigenous Gardens
Evergreen hedges, bougainvilleas, and palms thrive in our indigenous gardens, without the need for irrigation.
Reduction of Single-Use Plastics
We minimize plastic waste by exclusively offering paper straws, as well as using refillable shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers.
