The Locale was exactly how other reviews said it is. Great location as you are walking distance to Peppers and Camana Bay, as well as plenty of beach accesses. You are about a 10 min Taxi or Public Bus ride away from the north part of the island where the main public beach is and all the wonderful waterfront restaurants are down south, like The Wharf. The complimentary breakfast was perfect to get the day started, and with the price of food down there, it was helpful on the wallet to not have to pay for one meal. They did have a $20 BBQ night. We had dinner plans already, but would definitely take advantage of that next time. The food looked delicious. The staff was all wonderful, from the manager, front desk, the restaurant, and house keeping. Overall I would say this is a very good option if you are looking to save a few dollars on lodging while in the Grand Cayman. The big resorts were very pricey.

We stayed at the locale for the holiday break. The hotel was very clean and all the staff was awesome. Included breakfast was a great start to the day and was available from 7am-11am. Easy parking and location was convenient to plenty of food options walking distance or a quick drive. Easy walk to stores and Camana Bay. We had the king room with 2 twin beds in the loft which was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and seating if we wanted to chill in the evening. We enjoyed the beach towels and chairs they were available. The beach is a short walk or you can drive to other beaches. Our favorite section was Governors Beach (parking available) or 7 mile public (parking available). You could setup near or away from people. Absolutely awesome.

Nice room; I like the two-story space so my friend & I each had plenty of space & privacy. The staff are excellent, thoughtful & kind & helpful. Conveniently located, with a decent restauraant at the lobby level and within easy walking distance of additional restaurants !

We stayed around the holidays as a family. The location is very convenient, walking distance to Canama Bay, Foster’s Supermarket, restaurants, etc. Also, since it’s on the main street, was so easy to catch taxis and public buses. The atmosphere was contemporary, unique, boutique, and efficient. The room was spacious for our family of four. We thought it was very good value considering how expensive other ‘hotels’ are around the Locale. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast every morning downstairs. We are generally VERY CLEAN, therefore the cleanliness was just fine, like 4 stars, but we do have higher standards. It was slightly noisy from the chairs dragged in the room upstairs, otherwise surprisingly it was quiet. What differenciate this hote is the service of EVERY STAFF MEMEBER. Even the security personnel early in the morning was extremely helpful trying to secure a taxi to the airport before 6AM. We are forever thankful. The restaurant employees were all very polite, professional, and pleasant. I’d say, do not spend $1,000 a night at other nearby hotels. The Locale will provide superior value and service.

The Locale was the perfect hub for our trip to Grand Cayman Island. The distance to beaches and Camana Bay is short enough to walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant is good, and the staff polite and helpful. Added bonus that they have beach chairs to bring to the beach free of charge.

The room was clean and a comfortable temperature. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea were available in the room. I was very glad to have a microwave and refrigerator so I did not have to eat out every night. Breakfast included was very good. Thete was a little noise from the road but it was quiet at bedtime. The hotel room was big, modern and clean. The location of the hotel is central with easy walking access to the beach and Camana bay. The food at Bonfire was A+. Breakfast was amazing. We had pasta and pizza for dinner one night and it was delicious. I’d say on par or better than most restaurants in the area. Our family loved this place and will come back again. The Locale Hotel in Cayman turned out to be a real gem. Even without direct ocean access, it delivers more comfort and value than many beachfront properties. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well designed. The towels are pearly white and genuinely fluffy, and they even include a dedicated makeup towel, which is a thoughtful detail you rarely see.The restaurant on site is solid, and breakfast was plentiful and included, which made mornings easy. Service throughout the hotel was warm, friendly and attentive.The best surprise is the public beach just steps away. The hotel sets you up perfectly for it. Fresh towels, beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, even beach bags if you need one, all provided with zero hassle.All in all, excellent stay. Highly recommend.

The staff are very friendly. It is a budget hotel with a basic restaurant, but it is worth it for the location and general experience.

The hotel is located in a central location, near a gas station with some local restaurants, and 10 mins walk from the Camana Bay complex. The complementary breakfast is nice, the room is spacious, and the staff is friendly. They offer seats and towels to carry to the nearby beach. Johnny of the restaurant and his staff are amazing.

Had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Great location, clean room, nice bed and linen. The most important thing was how great the staff is. Had the opportunity to meet Tyler the manager and understood why the staff are happy to accommodate the guest. She is such a professional and engaging person whose leadership is passed down to everyone from the front desk, restaurant staff and housekeepers. Tasty breakfast every day in their restaurant was the way to start the day. Everyone was gracious on giving me reception on where to learn about the islands history and sights to see. They even have a pool and let you check out towels, chairs, and umbrellas if you want to take a short walk to the public beach’s. Book and you won’t regret.
