Seven Mile Beach

Grand Cayman is home to renowned Seven Mile Beach! This ironically named beach might be only 6.3 miles long, but this stretch of sand has consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the world. Seven Mile makes the island a famous destination and for good reason. Travelers are drawn to white sand, bright coral, and dazzling blue waters.

The ocean is kept calm by surrounding reefs and is warm year-round. There are no rivers on Grand Cayman, meaning there is no run-off. These waters are some of the clearest in the world and excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

Seven Mile Beach is entirely public access, so visitors can walk its entire length stopping at shops, restaurants, and local markets along the way. The beach also has playgrounds, picnic areas, and public washrooms. Other services along Seven Mile include dive shops, supermarkets, liquor stores, pharmacies, banks, post office, movie theatre, golf courses, and mini golf.
