😀 – food, rooms (pretty new and clean) with great furniture but the attention at the main desk with Sara was awesome, she helped us with advises, car renting and excursions options. 😞 – Price for the season might be was a bit high but might be regular, frequent custome could be able to get a tiny disccount.

The breakfast & staff in the dining room were excellent! Food was very good & everyone was so friendly! Great location – walkable to many things & SO easy to use public transport if needed! The desk will also call you a taxi if you prefer. Room was clean & had everything you need! Some things are getting ready to need some upkeep (paint, area rug) but overall very good! After reading the reviews about the Locale Hotel Grand Cayman, I had mixed feelings about what to expect. It turns out it was perfect for us! We had a large and very clean room with a kitchenette, couch, comfortable king bed and upstairs loft area. Every staff member we met were helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best….. and that is coming from someone who asked a lot of questions! There was a nice selection of choices for the included breakfast and the food was great. They provided all that you needed for the beach, including towels, chairs, beach bags, kids toys and intertubes. The concierge arranged for a taxi to the airport for us. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne delivered to our room for our New Year’s celebration and a second bottle a few days later just for booking there. We like to try different beaches and while 7 mile beach was an easy 5-8 minute walk, we could also catch the bus out front and very easily go to other beaches or town. Everyone was fantastic and the room was just great!They also have a terrific restaurant and ice cream shop on premises.The beach access is very close and short walk to the beach.

The Locale was exactly how other reviews said it is. Great location as you are walking distance to Peppers and Camana Bay, as well as plenty of beach accesses. You are about a 10 min Taxi or Public Bus ride away from the north part of the island where the main public beach is and all the wonderful waterfront restaurants are down south, like The Wharf. The complimentary breakfast was perfect to get the day started, and with the price of food down there, it was helpful on the wallet to not have to pay for one meal. They did have a $20 BBQ night. We had dinner plans already, but would definitely take advantage of that next time. The food looked delicious. The staff was all wonderful, from the manager, front desk, the restaurant, and house keeping. Overall I would say this is a very good option if you are looking to save a few dollars on lodging while in the Grand Cayman. The big resorts were very pricey.
